Weight Loss

What is Inovacure ?
For whom and why ?
How does the diet work ?

Inovacure is a treatment that has been in existence for over 30 years and has also been known as the “protein diet”. It works by creating an energy deficit in a person by lowering their caloric intake, which in turns triggers the body to start burning fat reserves in order to survive.

How does the diet works ?

When you stop eating, your body will exhaust any and all sources of energy in order to feed itself. The three choices are as follows:

  1. Proteins
Because you will be receiving proteins in sufficient quantities to maintain your muscle mass, it will be all but impossible for your body to turn to its muscles as a source of energy. Fish, meat, poultry and eggs are all good sources of proteins.
  2. Sugars
After just 12 hours of the Inovacure treatment, your body will have completely consumed the small quantity of sugar stored in your liver, kidneys and muscles in the form of glycogen.
  3. Fat
Then, if your muscles can't be used as a source of energy and the small quantity of sugar stored in your body has already been burned as fuel, only one energy source is still available: fat. Primarily without benefit, your excess fat will now be transformed as a fuel to run your body.

My ideal body weight

Healthy body weights are calculated using the BODY MASS INDEX (BMI),
which is an international standard used to measure excess weight and
obesity.

How to calculate your BMI

One practical way to quickly calculate your ideal body weight is to get
your BMI. This figure is calculated by dividing your weight (in kilos
or pounds) by the square (in meters or feet) of your height. It can
also be used to establish the degree of obesity and the health risks it
entails.

This method is not practical in calculating the ideal weight for
high-level athletes, pregnant women or people with serious illnesses.

EX: Weight 140lbs divided by a height of 5.4 feet = 25.39
